Ashbourne-based XRO. Chemical Services Ltd formulate and manufacture bespoke ‘own label’ cleaning chemicals, which are distributed both nationally and internationally. The company supports many industries, including medical, healthcare, engineering, transport, marine, graffiti-removal, agriculture, and food processing.
The £38,458 Business Growth Grant helped the company to install electrics and plumbing for a much improved and efficient production line in new larger premises, to enable both efficiency and growth. Their largest customer was predicting a large increase in sales and to achieve this XRO needed to increase their capacity,
When larger adjacent property became available, the company felt it would be the ideal opportunity to enable an increase in their sales volumes in a more suitable environment with more energy efficient electrics.
Wendy Greatorex (Director) says:
The grant has proved invaluable in helping us to expand into the new larger premises and in making us more efficient. We are already reaping the benefit with increased turnover and have taken on a further 5 employees, since the production line was installed.
