Eley Fitness is a personal training and group fitness studio in Bakewell, specialising in bespoke fitness programs. The studio takes a supportive, and community-driven approach to health and wellness. The services include one-on-one personal training, small group fitness classes, and specialised programs designed to promote long-term health and strength.
With the help of the £4,379 Small Business Daptation Grant awarded by Derbyshire Dales District Council the company was able to invest in state-of-the-art equipment that aligns with the specific needs of their members, including those in the 45-60 age group who often seek specialised guidance and equipment that prioritises functional strength, injury prevention, and overall well-being.
Additionally, the grant allowed them to introduce new training programs that cater to diverse fitness levels, including beginner-friendly options and advanced classes for dedicated fitness enthusiasts. By doing so, they have been able to attract a broader demographic, including clients who may not feel comfortable in a traditional gym environment. Overall, the grant helped them to achieve their vision of creating a fitness hub that not only supports physical health but also nurtures a sense of community, resulting in a significant increase in membership and a rise in positive feedback.
Ed Eley (Director) says:
This grant has been brilliant for our business. It’s allowed us to transform our fitness studio into a space that better meets the needs of our members while staying true to our values of community and personal connection. The upgrades we’ve made are already having a significant impact, and we’re excited to continue growing and supporting our local community.
This grant was awarded by Derbyshire Dales District Council and funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
