Bruno Cardona, a landscape gardener based in Great Longstone, wished to extend the services he offers to fill the quieter months for gardening. He decided to undertake a course in chimney sweeping and is now a fully qualified chimney sweep with The National Association of Chimney sweeps.
The £4,288 Small Business Adaptation Grant paid for the course and enabled Bruno to buy equipment and some promotional materials. Since completing the course he has used his new qualification to undertake safe professional chimney sweeping on log burners, open fires, Rayburns, and Agas.
Bruno Cardona (Company Director) says:
The grant was easy to apply for. It has helped me obtain a new qualification to further my career. Which I otherwise wouldn't have been able to apply for.
