Oliver Henry Kitchens is a family bespoke kitchen and cabinet maker. The brother and sister team are based near Hassop, where they design, manufacture and install traditional in-frame kitchens. Plus fitting out other rooms including boot rooms, utilities and libraries etc. The company prides itself on exceptional craftsmanship and service.
The £7,457 Small Business Adaptation Grant from Derbyshire Dales District Council has enabled them to build additional much needed space within the workshop and purchase new equipment to improve efficiency. They plan to expand the small team with an apprentice.
Oliver Marrison (Director) says:
The grant has been imperative to the expansion of our workshop facilities and cabinetry techniques. With an emphasis on hopefully employing an apprentice, enabling the passing of craftsmanship to the next generation. Thus, ensuring skills/trades aren’t lost in a rural community.
This grant was awarded by Derbyshire Dales District Council and funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
