Channel design is a small architecture practice specialising in low energy new builds and refurbishments.
The £2,824 Small Business Adaptation Grant helped them to replace and upgrade their existing computer systems to make better use of advances in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
Darren Archer (Director) says;
The updated computer system has enabled us to make better use of 3D modelling and BIM capabilities in our CAD software. This not only helps clients to better understand low energy proposals and designs earlier. It also allows the design to be better resolved before starting on site improving value for money for the client.
