Cromford Cheese Shop (a trading arm of Peak Tor Training) is an independent retailer of local and artisan cheeses. The shop also sells biscuits for cheese, chutneys, pies, local beers and wines, hampers and other gifts.

The £,423 Business Adaptation Grant helped the business to purchase three new energy efficient fridges to enable them to expand the range and quantities of cheeses stocked at the shop.

David Gibbs (Director) says:

Since opening the business in July 2020 we have always looked at expanding our range of local and artisan cheeses but were constrained by fridge space, particularly during peak times. The new fridges will enable us to expand our range and we are excited to be introducing the latest Derbyshire Wakebridge Diary Ewes cheese – made less than 5 miles from the shop near Crich.
