The Environmental Quality Mark (EQM) is holding a special awards dinner in October to mark 20 years of supporting businesses to be more sustainable. With long-running schemes in the Peak District and Staffordshire, EQM are now launching a nationwide scheme so businesses from anywhere in Derbyshire and elsewhere can apply.
The anniversary event is taking place on 26th October at Chatsworth, who have held the EQM since 2016. In an era of discerning customers seeking quality and sustainability amidst greenwashing claims, businesses can give their customers confidence by attaining the EQM. It is a mark of distinction, giving official recognition of what an organisation is doing for the environment and their local area.
